Our Missions
Our Missions
Grace Christian Fellowship is deeply committed to spreading the love of Christ through missions, both locally and globally. Partnering with organizations like Iris Global, a dedicated Christian mission founded in 1980 by Rolland and Heidi Baker, the church extends its reach to some of the most underserved communities worldwide. Through Walent Ministries in Eastern Germany, Grace Christian Fellowship actively supports transformative work in a region with a deep spiritual heritage, sharing the Gospel and building meaningful connections. Additionally, the church sends missionaries to Healing Hands International, equipping them to bring hope, healing, and practical aid to those in need. These mission trips are a vital expression of the church’s purpose, embodying its commitment to living out Christ’s call to serve others and make disciples of all nations.
Iris Global

Iris Global was founded as a dedicated Christian mission’s organization in 1980 by Rolland and Heidi Baker. At first based in the United States, it encompassed short-term evangelism trips to the Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, until in 1985 Rolland and Heidi moved to Indonesia. Eventually denied permanent missionary visas in Bali, Rolland and Heidi then moved to Hong Kong. There Iris’s activities were focused on the care and evangelism of residents of the poorest and most crowded slums. In 1995 Rolland and Heidi came to Mozambique, Africa, where they have concentrated their ministry ever since. Their U.S. administrative offices are in Redding, California, USA, but Iris has expanded to Iris Canada, Iris UK, etc., as charities in many countries. Iris missionaries are founding new bases on mission fields around the world, and one-third of the time Rolland and Heidi travel and minister at churches and conferences wherever the Holy Spirit leads them. The Bakers have Short term Missions; Long term Missions, Harvest Mission Schools, Global Schools. They have extensive bases in Asia, Australia, Middle East, South Africa, America, Brazil, and Africa. They are leaders in their field.
WALENT MINISTRIES
Steve & Christina with their three daughters minister in former East Germany. They serve as mentor and coach for church planters and have set up the first Church Planter's School in this part of the country. They are presently in their second round of training new church planters. Part of their church planting strategy is the renewal of existing churches, so that they can become mother churches and start to multiply. A Church Renewal School was recently started for this purpose. Right now 12 church teams in Saxony are taking part in it. Your prayers are appreciated for more churches to be planted in this former East Block part of Germany.
